White Walls She walked down the empty hallway, brushing her hands along the walls. So hollow; so quiet. If she held her breath she could almost hear the heartbeats stop. Walking with slurred steps, she had no destination in mind. Her smokey grey eyes squinted towards the white walls, watching them slowly melt into the floor. She walked against the lights surrounding her, feeling the walls slip through her fingers. The floor whispered for her to follow and she did with her mind numbed, until she found herself knee deep in the crystal water that was flowing through the cracks in the floorboard. Everything. It could all end in an instant, erased and forgotten. A flash. A bang. The end. There's a permanent fear of the end, but it isn't the end of life. The Chaos Inside Us The floor cracked underneath her feet. Splitting open as she walked along the edge of chaos, billowing and erupting below her, a constant cloud of darkness she walked on with indifference. She knew it was only the desolate lightness if being (stuck in her head) that kept her from falling under. Her mind swam behind her eyes as she lifted her gaze from the darkness reaching towards her (its fingers twisted through the cracks) to the bleak sky. The falling buildings around her turned into steel corpses, staring at her.

End Of The Line "Last stop." The conductor warned on the loud speaker, his voice booming over the train. "All passengers must exit, this is the last stop..." He sounded exhausted as he let his voice trail off into the silence. No one was quite sure what time it was, if time even still existed to any of them.
